Description
16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, rosy complexion and impasto painted blonde hair which has straight bangs and bobbed Dutch-style shape, large brown eyes, painted curly upper lashes, brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, sateen torso cover, jointing at shoulder and hips, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Martha Chase logo stamp on leg). Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1915. Value Points: rare bobbed hair style and beautifully painted solemn expression on the wonderfully preserved doll.
