23" (58 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, dimpled chin, brunette hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, wearing pretty antique forest-green dress with coral ribbons, undergarments, black leather shoes impressed "Bebe Jumeau 11 Depose", and decorated woven straw bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose E 11 J (and artist checkmarks, head) Bebe Jumeau (paper label on torso). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1884. Value Points: the dark brown eyes and rich eye shadow beautifully complement the delicate pale complexion, lovely costume and original signed shoes.
