Bisque socket head, large blue glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, painted ochre brows with feathered details, little button-shaped nose with accent dots, closed mouth with watermelon-slice shaped smile, brunette mohair bobbed wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, wearing suede Tyrolean trousers, shirt. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F made in Germany 10 JDK 221 Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912, the model was inspired by the Kewpie designs of Rose O'Neill which were also made by Kestner. Value Points: captivating expression of the wide-eyed imp, with original wig, plaster and body.
