Description
10" (25 cm.) Wax head, blue glass inset eyes, pronounced nose, parted lips with tiny teeth, inserted hair, wooden body with dowel-articulation at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted sandals, wearing original silk robe. Condition: generally excellent, one thumb tip chipped. Comments: early 1800s. Value Points: strong characterization and rare all-wooden articulated body.
