Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, elongated facial model with very full cheeks, small blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, feathered arched brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips complemented by shaded and outlined lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, light brown human hair hand-tied wig with braided coronet, cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, separately-sewn fingers and toes, wearing beautiful antique ensemble. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 12 (head and shoulders). Comments: Pierre-Francois Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: outstanding exhibition model poupee with finest sculpting, bisque and painting achieving a serene ennobled expression, original body and body finish on the very rare doll.
