28" (71 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, black sculpted hair in centerpart and then waved softly behind her ears into little finger curls, enamel inset eyes, tinted brows and lashes, closed mouth, plump face, handmade old muslin body with stitch jointing. Condition: good condition, chip at back shoulderplate, original finish albeit light overall crazing, body very worn. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: wonderful presence of the early well-loved doll wearing original cotton print dress and apron, undergarments, stockings, shoes.
