Bisque socket head, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, mauve- blushed eyeshadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, impressed chin and philtrum dimples, separately-applied pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, straight wrists, lovely blue silk and lace costume, blue frou-frou lace bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes signed C.M. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Jumeau 8 (incised, and artist checkmarks). Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1882, the model was made for one or two years only. Value Points: finest creamy bisque enhanced by splendid eyes, original body and body finish, original Jumeau wig.
