5" (13 cm.) Bisque swivel head on bisque torso, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, fringe-painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig, peg-jointing at shoulders and hips, ball-jointing at elbows, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, the jointed elbow mignonette was deposed by Fernand Sustrac in 1877, and mentioned in La Poupee Modele of 1878, named "poupees de poche" (pocket dolls). Value Points: charming piquant expression on the heart-shaped face wearing original costume and hat, the mignonette has rare ball-jointing at wrists.
