12" (30 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head with sculpted bonnet having texture, detail and scalloped rim, sculpted forelock of hair, intaglio pale blue side-glancing eyes with white eye dots, wavy brows, closed mouth with accented lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 7959 Heubach (in square) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine quality of sculpting and bisque, with rare sculpted bonnet.
