4" (10 cm.) (excluding tail). Of lush golden brown velvet the elephant has trunk with curled up tip, tail, stitched ears, amber glass eyes, celluloid tusks, and with original early Steiff (extended foot) in ear. Excellent condition. Germany, Steiff, rare early velvet animal, circa 1905.
