11" (28 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, unpierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, stretched-twill over wooden articulated body, dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1875. Value Points: very beautiful face on the rare-bodied doll with perfect bisque hands that are exquisitely-sculpted, antique costume and bonnet.
