12" (30 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head turned to the right and downward, brown sculpted hair casually waved back into loose coiled bun at top of head and casual curls at side of face and nape, enamel eyes, smiling expression, impressed dimples, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, green painted stockings and tan shoes, wearing original folklore costume comprising gold silk bodice, skirt, embroidered apron, beaded necklace, carrying basket of lemons. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, especially charming characterization with well-rendered features.
