35" (89 cm.) x 30" framed. In richly carved gilded frame is an oil on canvas depicting a doll in lavishly costumed rose lace dress and bonnet, standing alongside a toy poodle. Excellent condition, canvas has been restretched. Signed by the artist, Eugene Gerin. French, late 19th century. Ex-Susan Whittaker collection.
