Description
Of fine ivory silk satin, the bonnet is wire-framed with well-detailed ruching, and inverted box pleating forming a bavolet which is enhanced by narrow pleating at the edging, and with a generous ivory silk bow at the back, and frou-frou ribbons accenting the outer brim. 11"l. 4 1/2" inside head width. Circa 1875.
