Description
30" (76 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with decorative glaze on the shaded lips, brunette hand-tied human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 76. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, the wistful model marketed as "Mein Liebling". Value Points: very finest bisque on the gentle-featured model with touches of dewy patina on the matte complexion, original body and body finish, wonderful antique costume, rare large size.
