Description
11 1/2" (29 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, open mouth, four teeth, blonde human hair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Unis France 149 301 1 1/4. Comments: Bleuette from La Semaine de Suzette series, circa 1938. Value Points: pristine condition of the blue-eyed Bleuette, along with Gautier-Languereau costumes including rare prototype dress of white cotton with floral and windmill abstract design (made in color variations, but never offered in catalog); "Le Beau Jour", communion gown and veil (lacking cap and full slip), standard robe from wartime years, "Pature Valisiere", night gown in coral rayon, 1946, and pair of white side-button shoes.
