Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) Velvet dog with brown back and crown, cream velvet underbelly and muzzle is seated on his back legs, his paws held out in a beseeching manner, black bead eyes, tail, with green ribbon ties around his torso which enclose a basket with silk pincushion, black leatherette collar and with original early Steiff button in ear. The pup is posed upon its original velvet cushion. Excellent condition. Germany, Steiff, circa 1910.
