11" (28 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, sculpted brown hair waved loosely from her face and captured in a topknot, with curls cascading onto her shoulders and a blue hair band, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden arms and legs, yellow stockings, red ankle boots with blue rims, wearing original costume comprising yellow silk harem pants, lined silk tunic with thick metallic threading, lined green silk jacket with metallic trim, and carrying silver bag. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late 1700s, especially fine detail of costume.
