7" (18 cm.) diam. 9"h. Porcelain dresser box whose removable lid features a handle which is a waist-up porcelain half-doll of nude lady with curly brown sculpted hair held by a turquoise hair band, her head tilted downward, and her arms extended in a graceful manner, wearing a gilt metallic halter which is attached to a flared metallic frame designed to appear as her skirt, and which covers the porcelain vanity bowl. The bowl frame is incised "France" and "Bte SGDG Depose" and the porcelain bowl is marked Limoges. Excellent condition. Dressel & Kister half-doll for the French market, circa 1920.
