15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass spiral-threaded inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, lovely costume. Condition: bisque excellent, body not original and a bit weak. Marks: D. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, their depose model with smiling expression, circa 1872. Value Points: beautiful face with gentle expression accentuated by rich decoration of eyes.
