10" (25 cm.) seated. Porcelain half-doll of lady with grey sculpted hair in elaborate up-swept 18th century style, decorated with three colorful plumes, arms sculpted bent at elbows and posed in front of torso, muslin torso, porcelain legs modeled crossed at her knees, silk costume, and posed in burgundy velvet upholstered chair with fringe. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, the half-doll has especially fine painting of eyes and lips, exquisite sculpting of individual fingers.
