4 1/2" (11 cm.) Waist-up porcelain lady with sculpted brown hair and painted costume in the 18th century style, posed with ring held in her right hand as she extends the ring finger on her left hand as though to place the ring. Excellent condition. Germany, Goebel, circa 1915, the popular model was made in a variety of styles including another example made of bisque, uncostumed and with mohair wig. Rarity factors of this charming half-dolls include dark brown color of hair and yellow gown with rose pattern.
