Bisque socket head with creamy complexion and very full cheeks, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, ash blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, original muslin chemise with lace and red trim, original bow and earrings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 9 (head, and artist checkmarks) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value Points: especially pretty example of the classic tete model with shy expression, original soft mohair wig, original body and body finish, original chemise and presented in original labeled box.
