12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, lightly-feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with pale outlined lips, ears pierced into head, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with slender torso, gusset-jointing at elbows and hips, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1870. Value Points: especially beautiful face for such a tiny poupee, sturdy body, original wig, pate, and very fine original gown of white pique with soutache embroidery, undergarments, leather boots, bonnet.
