7" (18 cm.) All-composition, blue painted side-glancing eyes, tiny closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips, painted white socks and black flat shoes. She is wearing blue organdy dress with lace trim, attached coral petticoat, and panties. The dress has cloth tag "Madame Alexander New York USA". Generally excellent, slight fading on dress. Madame Alexander, 1938, the doll is preserved in her original bright flowered box, named American Girl.
