Delicate pressed bisque socket head with pale blushed complexion, almond-shaped brown glass enamel inset eyes, painted dark lashes, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume comprising aqua silk dress, woven bonnet with aqua silk ribbons, undergarments, knit stockings, and black leather shoes signed C.P. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1 (head). Comments: Emile Jumeau, his earliest period deluxe bebe referred to as "portrait". Value Points: superb artistry of the beautiful early bebe with original body, body finish, finest quality of bisque and painting.
