11" (28 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, brown sculpted hair loosely waved from her face and gathered into a coiled bun at back of head, tied with blue head band, enamel eyes, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted blue stockings, orange clogs, wearing original silk embroidered gown, coral glass-beaded necklace, and carrying tambourine with painted scenes. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late 1700s.
