9" (23 cm.) The paper mache head with top hat and large down-glancing googly eyes is spring attached in "nodder" fashion to a skinny paper mache torso resting on really skinny legs, with right arm extended, and with painted costume and mounted on original wooden base. Generally excellent. Germany, circa 1895, depicted is Uncle Sam from the Palmer Cox Brownies series.
