25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass spiral threaded sleep eyes, painted lashes with dot highlights, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, accented lips, two square cut upper teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 14 H 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: very choice quality of modeling, bisque and painting on the sought early model.
