9" (23 cm.) The wooden Noah's Ark has painted detail of architectural features, with sliding door which is ink-lettered "John Bingham" in the inside wall. Tucked inside are 15 pairs of hand-carved animals including farm animals, wild animals and birds, as well as 13 additional unpaired animals. Generally excellent. Germany, circa 1880, an unusual petite size of the beloved traditional "Sunday toy".
