Polychromed terra cotta head, black sculpted hair in pageboy-like style, enamel eyes, sculpted facial lines, strong nose, row of sculpted teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted blue stockings, painted wrinkled-top leggings over tan shoes with black buckles, wearing original costume of blue breeches, laced twill vest, twill tan jacket with covered buttons. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, early 1700s, outstanding characterization and painting, rare hair style and leggings.
