Description
7" (18 cm.) Each has carved wooden head, carved and tinted facial features, cloth body and legs, wooden lower arms, the girl with painted pate and black thread hair, and the boy with black painted hair. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Door of Hope Mission, circa 1910. Value Points: early children, wearing fine original detailed costumes with lined silk tunics, the boy with added vest and fitted leggings, red silk cap and green slippers, and the girl with loose trousers, green slippers and embroidered cap with pom-pom.
