Bisque socket head with plump cheeks, small blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1488 Simon & Halbig 12. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1915. Value Points: finest quality of bisque on the rare model with touches of dewy patina enhancing the deeply sculpted features and softly blushed complexion, original toddler body and body finish, antique mariner costume.
