Description
12" (30 cm.) Having very over-sized paper mache head with painted googly eyes, and with cloth cap with dangling buttons, loosely-attached by wooden dowel to a skinny body and elongated legs, posed on wooden base. When lightly tapped, the head nods back and forth. Generally excellent, some light costume fading. Germany, circa 1895, inspired by illustrations of Palmer Cox.
