24" (61 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde brushstroked boyish hair, intaglio blue painted eyes with pronounced pupils, white eyedots, red and black upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips creating a pouting expression, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11 Heubach (sunburst mark) 7602 Germany (head) Made in Germany (body). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rare large size of the fretful faced character, very fine quality of bisque, sculpting and painting, and wonderful antique gentleman's costume.
