12" (30 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with bald pate, well-defined ears and facial features with tinted painting, cloth body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Door of Hope, early period, circa 1910, depicting Buddhist priest. Value Points: rare early model wearing linen kimono over blue short jacket with elongated sleeves, another blue jacket, blue fitted trousers, yellow cord slippers with white cording.
