9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head with solid dome having two different faces which can be alternately revealed, one face with painted tiny blue eyes, closed mouth with scowling expression on the shaded lips, defined tongue, incised scowling lines; and the other face with blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with slight smile, defined tongue and two beaded upper teeth; with painted blonde hair, composition bent limb baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2/0 567. Comments: Bahr and Proschild for Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: well-sculpted rare models with fine bisque are combined in this well-rendered doll.
