8" (20 cm.) Porcelain nude lady with curvaceous body is posed en pointe on left leg, her right leg extended forward, peg-jointed arms with bent right elbow, sculpted grey hair, painted pink ballet slippers, antique embroidered tulle costume. Excellent condition. Germany, Dressel, Kister & Co, the figure appeared in the company's 1911 catalog as model 4502B, and was made with hole at tip of both right and left feet to allow for display of choice.
