12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape, large brown glass side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly side lashes, angled feathered brows, accented nostrils of little button-shaped nose, impish smile of closed mouth, blonde mohair bobbed wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body, nicely costumed including lithographed tin lunch pail. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: B made in Germany 6 JDK 221 Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: appealing petite size of the beloved googly, with original wig, body, body finish, and very fine quality of bisque.
