13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, sculpted short brown curly hair with blue hair band and bow, intaglio painted blue side-glancing eyes, one-stroke brown brows, closed mouth with beaming smile, row of tiny teeth, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish with some scuffing. Marks: Heubach (in square) 7768 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: expressive features enhanced by impressed laughter crinkles around the eyes and impressed dimples.
