15" (38 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with heart-shaped upper lip, outlined lips, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E 2 B Depose. Comments: Barrois, circa 1865. Value Points: brilliant blue eyes beautifully contrast the delicate bisque, lovely antique costume of soutache-embroidered white pique, undergarments, shoes, stockings, bonnet.
