13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with very full outlined lips, very lush brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, one thumb tip chipped. Marks: 2060 149 1. Comments: Hertel and Schwab for Bahr and Proschild, circa 1912. Value Points: the rarely found character has very fine sculpting including impressed eye crinkles, and dimples at sides of mouth and chin, finest bisque and painting, original wig, body, body finish, and antique costume.
