Description
10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition body with jointing at shoulders, hips and knees, well costumed in knit dress and cap, factory-original shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: sweet little closed mouth doll, original body and body finish, great expression, with a little Steiff kitten that has a button in ear.
