18" (46 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with very plump face, pale blue shaded downcast eyes, black upper eyeliner, painted all-around lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, unpierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, all-wooden poupee body with shapely torso, swivel waist, dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles, separately carved fingers, wearing blue cotton print dress, undergarments, very fancy leather heeled boots with gold buttons. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Adelaide Huret, earliest period poupee, circa 1855, with French articulated poupee body. Value Points: very beautiful Huret poupee with exquisite painting, delicate blushing on cheeks and chin, luxury wooden body with extra articulations.
