Description
6" (15 cm.) One-piece bisque figure of little girl posed as though standing in a pond of water on a chilly morning, with blonde sculpted hair, rounded googly eyes, button nose, "O" shaped mouth. The figure is impressed "G. Drayton" at the back of the base. Designed by American illustrator, Grace Drayton, most known for her design of the Campbell Kids. The September Morn design was utilized in a series of amusing drawings for postcards, as well as this figurine and an all-bisque doll. Germany, circa 1912.
