Earthenware sculpted figure depicting a young lad with unruly curled hair,enamel eyes,sculpted teeth,hemp-wrapped body,earthenware hands with expressive fingers,and lower legs with sculpted shoes. Condition: generally excellent,some light surface wear on face. Comments: Neopolitan,early 1800s. Value Points: rare child figure,expressive features,wearing original costume,and including an earthenware sculpted baby goat. Being sold from The Strong Museum to benefit the collection funds,ex-collection Margaret Woodbury Strong.
