17" (43 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head with plump cheeks, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips creating a pouting expression, accented lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6970 Germany 7 (head) (Holz-masse stamp on torso). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: most appealing character with original matched body, choice bisque, wearing antique navy blue woolen jacket with brass buttons, cap, saddle shoes.
