24" (61 cm.) The wooden cabinet with rounded front is finished in patinated gilt and hand-painted Fragonard scenes on three panels, the largest depicting an 18th century lady and lord with large wooden birdcage. There is a gilded metal edging at the crown, painted garlands of flowers, and glass shelving on the interior. Excellent condition. French, 1800s.
