A card stock box with lithographed decorative paper cover contains its original fitted interior designed to enthuse a young child in the skills of sewing is features a bisque head doll with blue sleep eyes, mohair lashes, open mouth, four teeth, auburn mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, muslin chemise, shoes and socks. Also included is a lithographed tin sewing machine, mannequin form on wooden pedestal, card of sewing tools including scissors, needle case, thimble and more, and a bounty of samples, beads, thread, and more. Excellent all-original condition. For the French market, the presentation was offered in holiday Etrennes catalog, circa 1915.
