12" (30 cm.) Each has bisque socket head with amber tinted complexion, brown glass sleep eyes, painted dark lashes, black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, dimpled chin, pierced ears, black mohair wig, original French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1099 Dep 3 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig on original French bodies by Lafosse (Steiner successor), circa 1895. Value Points: the matched pair wear elaborate matching Asian costumes, the girl with fancy coiffe.
